ConsultNonprofit.com is a marketplace and does not charge nonprofits to use the service. To keep the site running we accept payment from consultants in three specific ways. This disclosure explains what is — and is not — paid placement.

How we make money

• Memberships: Consultants can subscribe to a paid tier to unlock profile enhancements.
• Featured placement: Consultants can pay to appear in "Featured" slots, which are always labeled.
• Lead unlocks: Consultants pay a flat fee (currently $49) to view a nonprofit inquiry's full contact details.

What is not paid

• Directory rank for non-featured slots is based on relevance, completeness, and verification — not payment.
• Verified status cannot be purchased. It is earned through a manual review.
• Editorial articles and comparisons are not sponsored. Sponsored content, when it exists, is clearly labeled.

Reviews

Nonprofit reviews are user-submitted. Consultants cannot pay to remove negative reviews. We moderate for spam and policy violations only.
