ConsultNonprofit.com ("we", "us") operates a marketplace connecting nonprofits with fundraising, grants, and operations consultants. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it.

Information we collect

• Account data: email address, name, role, and password (hashed) for authentication.
• Firm data: business name, contact details, services, and content you publish to your listing.
• Inquiry data: the details nonprofits submit when requesting consultant outreach.
• Payment data: processed by Stripe. We store subscription and unlock metadata, not card numbers.
• Usage data: page views, click events, and diagnostic logs used to improve the service.

How we use information

• Match nonprofits with relevant consultants.
• Operate accounts, memberships, and payments.
• Send transactional email (confirmations, receipts, dispute notices).
• Send our monthly newsletter — only to people who opted in.

Sharing

We share information with the vendors that run our infrastructure — hosting, database, email delivery, payments, and analytics. We do not sell personal data. Consultant contact details are only disclosed after a nonprofit agrees to be introduced or a consultant unlocks a lead.

Your choices

• Unsubscribe from the newsletter using the link in any email.
• Request access, correction, or deletion of your data by emailing hello@consultnonprofit.com.
• Close your account at any time.

Security

We use industry-standard controls: TLS in transit, role-based access, row-level authorization in our database, and least-privilege service credentials. No system is perfect; report suspected issues to hello@consultnonprofit.com.

Children

The service is not directed to children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their information.
